Grief Fatigue Is Real

If you’re tired of being strong, rest here awhile.

Have you ever felt exhausted…

but not just physically?

The kind of tired that sleep doesn’t fix.

The kind that sits in your chest, your thoughts, your body.

That’s not weakness.

That’s grief.

Grief doesn’t just show up as sadness.

It shows up as fatigue. Brain fog. Irritability. Disconnection.

A heaviness you can’t quite explain.

And the hardest part?

Most people don’t recognize it for what it is.

So they keep pushing.

Keep showing up.

Keep being “strong.”

Until one day… everything feels like too much.

Let me say this clearly:

You are allowed to be tired.

You are allowed to not have it all together.

You are allowed to stop pretending you’re okay.

Grief fatigue is real.

And if you’re feeling it right now—

this is your permission to pause.

Rest here awhile.

You don’t have to carry everything today.

You don’t have to have the right words.

You don’t even have to explain what you’re feeling.

This space—this community—exists for exactly this reason:

To be seen.

To be heard.

To be held in the moments when life feels heavy.

Everyone is welcome here. Exactly as they are.

Grief can manifest in ways we don’t always expect.

It can look like exhaustion… or numbness… or overwhelm.

And sometimes, we don’t even realize

that what we’re feeling is grief at all.

But your body knows.

Your mind knows.

And eventually… it asks you to slow down.

There is strength in continuing forward, yes—

but there is also strength in saying:

“I can’t do this alone.”

Vulnerability is not weakness.

It’s one of the bravest things you can choose.

If you need a place to start, I created something for you.

Your Daily Spark Journal

A gentle resource to help you slow down, reflect, and reconnect with yourself.

You don’t have to carry this alone anymore.

Rest when you need to.

Reach out when you’re ready.

I’m here.

With hope and encouragement,

Dawn
