Biography
Janna Wellemeyer, M. A. ed., Grief Recovery Specialist
As a stay at home, homeschooling mother of three children and wife to a retired Coast Guard Veteran most of my experience has come from what life has handed to me. I’ve always felt people drawn to me, sharing their stories with me and seeking advice. It was after several miscarriages followed by a stillbirth that I found myself so deep in the pain that I couldn’t handle my daily functions. I could get up and look productive as society would call me, but I was dying inside. I couldn’t keep my mind focused on simple tasks like making dinner, or remembering to write out a grocery list. I found myself so lost in worry about all of life's what-ifs.
My brain felt completely consumed and I didn’t know how to get out of it. I had been “strong” for so long. The Grief Recovery Method was recommended to me and I instantly felt a little glimmer of hope.
The Grief Recovery Method became my passion project. It helped me heal and it helped my family heal, both separately and together. Showing compassion to clients and providing a safe-space I can guide clients to finding more peace and happiness in their own lives today by managing all that was left unhealed. I’d truly be honored to guide you on your healing journey. In Healing.
