Cyndi Thomsen

Courage and Presence After Loss

Biography

Cyndi Thomsen is a storyteller, theatre director, and personal transformation coach who helps creatives and visionary women reclaim their voice, rediscover their purpose, and rise with courage. With over 40 years of experience in the performing arts, community leadership, and women’s empowerment, she blends presence work, narrative healing, and somatic awareness to help others reconnect with who they truly are.

As the Artistic/Managing Director of RBCC Players, a long-standing community theatre near Seattle, and the founder of Creating a Passionate Life, Cyndi is devoted to helping people find meaning, clarity, and confidence through the power of story. Her coaching work integrates embodiment, reflective inquiry, and the transformative potential of creativity.

Her forthcoming memoir, Courageous: A Journey from Pain to Purpose, chronicles her deeply personal path through physical pain, emotional collapse, and the unraveling of long-buried memories. Through this journey, she discovered how untold stories can hold us back—and how speaking truth, listening to the body, and reclaiming our voice can restore healing, connection, and hope.

Cyndi also co-creates programs for couples and families through The Thomsen Institute for Extraordinary Relationships, where she and her husband blend relational science with presence-based practices.

Married for over 40 years, she finds joy in creativity, conversation, coaching, and coastal walks. She believes that your body remembers who you are—and your story wants to lead you home.
